Hi, I’m Katja — a natural‑light wedding and family photographer based in Porvoo. My work focuses on capturing the genuine moments, emotional highlights, and small details of your day. With nearly ten years of photographic experience, my approach is warm, documentary, and unobtrusive. That way you can enjoy the celebration while I make sure your memories are preserved. In wedding photography I value naturalness — I look for light and moments where emotions show without artifice. I photograph the ceremony and wedding portraits as well as intimate interactions with guests and the little details that make your day uniquely yours. Engagement sessions are a natural part of my offering: they help build trust between the couple and the photographer before the wedding, make posing easier, and result in more authentic final images. My working style is calm and encouraging. We usually start with a conversation about your wishes and the day’s schedule — I want to understand what matters most to you. On the day I aim to be smooth and discreet, offering gentle guidance when needed and subtly seeking beautiful compositions and flattering light. My goal is to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera and to find the angles you’ll love. I operate around the Porvoo region and photograph weddings across Finland.
