You imagine, I create. I’m Björn Fagerholm, a wedding photographer working in Mellunkylä who has been photographing weddings and engagements professionally since 2005. Wedding photography is my primary discipline: I love capturing the atmosphere of the day—from small details to big emotions—without artificial posing, yet always with careful planning. I approach wedding photography with a documentary eye, while bringing the visual precision I gained from commercial and portrait photography. That means I can respond to chance moments and, when the moment calls for it, create considered, striking images. I have experience working in the studio as well as across the city and countryside—studio portraits and environmental portraits both come naturally to me. My working style is calm and collaborative. Before the wedding we’ll meet to go through your wishes, the schedule and the key moments. An engagement session is an excellent way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day—it also gives a strong basis for the wedding photography’s style and composition. On the wedding day I aim to be present without intrusive theatrics: I capture emotions, small gestures and sudden outbursts of joy that together shape the day. My attitude is relaxed but professional—I want it to be easy for you to be yourselves. My experience across different productions and client assignments helps me anticipate situations: lighting solutions, using the environment, and quick decision-making all smooth the day’s flow. I speak Finnish and Swedish, and I’m used to working with a wide range of couples and planners.
