I’m Atte Leskinen, a wedding photographer based in Järvenpää, and my passion is capturing the authentic, fleeting moments of your wedding day with a documentary approach. I’ve been photographing weddings since 2016 and have documented nearly a hundred wedding days — experience that helps me be in the right place at the right time and deliver images that tell your story naturally and intimately. Documentary wedding photography is my way of working as a storyteller: I avoid over-directing and instead follow the flow of the day, catching emotions and details while creating a comprehensive visual narrative. It’s important to me that the couple receives images that truly reflect their personality and wishes, so I always review the wedding day plan together with the couple in advance — planning helps calm the day and ensures the important moments are preserved. First-look moments and preparation shots are often full of touching emotions; I recommend a first look to many couples because it eases nerves and allows for calm portraits before the ceremony. During wedding portraits I aim to keep the atmosphere relaxed and natural — the location and duration are agreed with the couple, and my goal is to create images that show your personality. I also offer engagement shoots, which serve as a great rehearsal for the wedding photography and give you a shared memento of the special time before the ceremony. Engagement sessions help you find natural poses and provide material for invitations, signage or your wedding album. I primarily work in Järvenpää and the Uusimaa region, but I’m happy to travel further when the day or venue calls for it. My service is friendly, straightforward and professional — I work in Finnish, English and Spanish, and I aim to keep the atmosphere relaxed for both the couple and your guests throughout the shoot.
