I’m Ellen Kivistö, a wedding photographer working in the Turku area who focuses on documenting weddings authentically and with atmosphere. My work is grounded in presence: I want my images not only to show what the day looked like, but to convey how it felt. I plan each shoot according to your wishes: we discuss locations, timing and backup plans together so you can simply be present and enjoy the day. I’ve worked as a photographer since 2015 and have shot hundreds of weddings, which allows me to anticipate light, movement and key moments. I ensure technical confidence with dual camera bodies, additional lighting and secure backups. Delivery is thoughtful and punctual: you’ll often get sneak-peek images as early as the next day and the complete gallery within the agreed timeframe. The shooting experience matters to me as much as the final photos. I handle preparations, share tips and a short guide to wedding photography, and we’ll meet for a planning session before the wedding—either in person around Turku or by video call. All images are delivered via a password-protected online gallery that makes downloading, sharing with guests and ordering prints easy. I also offer engagement and pre-wedding sessions as part of my wedding services if you’d like a mood-filled preview or practice for portraits. I accept assignments across the Turku region, throughout Finland, and I’m happy to travel abroad.
