Valokuvaus Nelly is a Pori-based wedding photographer specializing in wedding and engagement photography. My work is driven by the desire to convey the atmosphere of your day exactly as it was experienced: genuine expressions, small gestures and the moments that tell the story of your celebration. I strive for an almost invisible presence so natural situations can unfold without excessive posing or direction. I approach wedding photography by combining a documentary eye with considered portraiture. The documentary style ensures that the key events and spontaneous emotions are recorded authentically, while short, calm portrait sessions—either in-studio or on location—bring out the personal side of the celebration. Pori offers beautiful shooting locations, and I know the local environments well: coastal beaches, urban landscapes and intimate ceremony venues all come naturally into the frame. Client care is central to my work. Before the wedding we discuss your wishes, important moments and the overall mood you want in your images so the day's flow remains relaxed and flexible. On the day I aim to be present in a natural, unobtrusive way: I’ll suggest natural poses when needed and schedule brief pauses so you can stay present with each other. In post-production I invest time in careful editing — tone, color and mood are refined so the final gallery reads as a coherent visual story.
