I choose a documentary approach to tell the story of your wedding day — I am there as a guest among the others, not the centre of attention. I am a Pori-based wedding photographer with over 15 years of experience and more than 150 wedding days across Finland. At the heart of my work is trust: I want you to enjoy your day fully and later recognise in the images the moments that mattered. I approach wedding photography as storytelling. A documentary style means I look for genuine reactions, small gestures and wide emotional scenes that together form the day’s whole. I don’t stage artificial setups; instead I follow events with a sensitive eye — sometimes close, sometimes more distant — so the result feels natural and becomes a lasting memory for years to come. My professional background in advertising shows in my organisation and post-processing: planning, clear communication and a carefully finished image flow are all part of the service. My working method is relaxed but precise — I want you and your guests to experience photographing as a pleasant part of the day, not a source of stress. Many couples have commented that my presence is unobtrusive and that it feels like one of the guests is quietly capturing the moments. Although documentary photography is my core expertise, I also offer cinematic 3–5 minute wedding films and aerial drone photography to complement the visual story when requested. These add-on products are designed to support the emotional narrative of the photos rather than compete with it — my primary role remains that of a wedding photographer, committed to capturing the essence of your day.
