Hi — I’m Tuomas Mikkolainen (Nappari), and wedding photography is the work where my passions for people, music and landscapes come together. My specialty is documentary wedding photography: I aim to be present in the day and capture genuine, spontaneous moments instead of staging every shot. We usually begin with meetings where I listen to your wishes — whether you want calmer wedding portraits or continuous documentary coverage of the whole day. I often combine first look moments with the portrait session for practicality and to preserve the mood. I don’t give excessive instructions; instead I guide and nudge gently, creating relaxed situations where authentic expressions appear naturally. Engagement sessions are a great way to get to know each other beforehand and bring confidence to the wedding day. The story and passion shine through in the final images: I want your gallery to tell the story of your day as it was experienced. I especially love the moment when clients see their photos for the first time and recognise their own small, meaningful moments in them.
