I’m Dilan Rauhala. At the heart of Dilan Visuals is one promise: your photos should reflect open hearts and free spirits. My specialty is documentary wedding photography — I look for and record the moments when people are truly present. I’m based in Hervanta, Tampere, and I’m happy to travel across Finland to capture the atmosphere of your wedding day. My approach is warm, encouraging and unobtrusive. Clients often describe me as a bubbly photographer who blends into the group and behaves like one of the guests: I don’t insist on posed shots, but I give space for spontaneity. In my documentary wedding photography I focus on emotions, small gestures and the moments that make the day your story — from the first look to the final dance. How I work is grounded in meeting people and good preparation. Documentary wedding packages include a complimentary meeting so we can get to know each other, go through your wishes and calm any nerves before the big day. During that meeting we’ll review the day’s timeline, your priorities and, if useful, take a few test images — this helps ensure the shoot becomes a true reflection of you. I also offer engagement sessions and couple portraits, ideal as a pre-wedding story or an intimate keepsake of your connection. In couple sessions I offer gentle direction without forcing anything; the goal is to find how you naturally are together and let that show in the images. It’s important to me that after the shoot you receive a gallery that genuinely and touchingly brings back the day’s feeling.
