I’m Daniela, a documentary wedding photographer based in Vaasa. My passion is to capture the honest, small actions and looks that make your day uniquely yours. My style is warm, natural and immediate: I seek authentic feeling rather than overly posed perfection so the images still feel true to you years from now. I approach every wedding with a personal touch. I don’t want to be an anonymous figure at the edge of your day, but a relaxed, trusted presence — almost a friend whose presence feels natural. I achieve this through calm communication, careful planning and gentle direction: I guide and support you during shoots so that even awkward moments in front of the camera become real, movement- and laughter-filled memories. My documentary approach blends with a guiding presence when needed: I document the key moments, details and atmosphere of your wedding, while also noticing the small gestures and shadows that together tell the full story. In addition to wedding photography I offer engagement sessions — for example a pre-wedding shoot that helps you feel relaxed in front of the camera before the big day. I work mainly in Vaasa and the Ostrobothnia region, but travel comes naturally to me: I love destination and elopement photography and I’m happy to follow you wherever you choose to say your vows. I adore natural light and genuinely atmospheric locations, and often the best images come from those small, meaningful moments.
