I am Jouni Teittinen — a wedding photographer whose work centers on capturing meaningful moments and authentic encounters. Photography has been part of my life for over ten years, and I primarily photograph weddings in the Oulu and Rovaniemi areas. My priority is visual storytelling: I aim for your images to convey feeling, atmosphere and the genuine truth of the moment. My approach is documentary and calm. I strive to be present, unobtrusive and a natural part of the celebration — so couples and guests can be themselves, and I can record natural expressions, small gestures and spontaneous moments. I appreciate people who are willing to let go and be themselves, and I offer the same openness: I remain authentic with those I photograph, creating a relaxed atmosphere and the trust that shows in the final images. My work always begins with listening. We discuss your wishes, the flow of the day and the moments that matter most. Together we plan the kinds of images you want — intimate portraits, documentary sequences or atmospheric location shots. I capture weddings primarily with natural light and an eye for detail, but when needed I use controlled lighting to tell your story in the way that suits you best. In addition to wedding photography, I offer engagement photography, and I can provide portrait and event photography by arrangement. These assignments follow the same calm approach and narrative focus — I photograph people and moments, not staged scenes. Why choose me?
