I'm Anssi Ylipulli, the heart of Lappi Films — wedding photography is more than a job to me: it's a way of capturing people's most important moments authentically and with subtlety. Based in Rovaniemi, I photograph couples across Finland. My speciality is documentary wedding photography: I look for natural moments, genuine emotion and the atmosphere that the surroundings bring, rather than staging overly posed portraits. I make use of Lapland's light, the changing seasons and the landscape: the environment adds depth and helps tell your story while I concentrate on the authenticity of the moments between people. I have experience working at both intimate ceremonies and larger celebrations, and I prioritise making your day feel safe and smooth throughout the photography process. My working method is personal: we always begin with a conversation where I listen to your wishes and what matters most to you. On the wedding day I stay attentive and ready to capture moments you might not even notice — smiles, glances and small gestures that make the day unique. Alongside wedding photography, I offer engagement shoots and portrait photography in natural settings, and I provide supporting aerial photography when it complements the story. Video services, including wedding films, are also part of Lappi Films' production, but wedding photography is where I focus most and what I consider my core expertise.
