Mediapaja (photographer Johnny Perkka) is a Kouvola-based team specializing in wedding photography that approaches weddings first and foremost as storytelling opportunities. We focus on documentary wedding photography — seeking out and recording those small, authentic moments and emotions that make your day uniquely yours. At the same time, we offer bridal portraits both in studio and on location when you want a more classic portrait style or images that sit naturally within a chosen setting. Why choose us? How we work: we usually start with a planning meeting — either virtually or in person in Kouvola — to go through the day’s schedule, key people and locations, and the visual style you prefer. On the wedding day our presence is unobtrusive but attentive; we capture moments in a documentary manner and, where needed, create portraits in the studio or at your chosen location. We can also include additional services through trusted partners as part of a photography package. We primarily serve Kouvola and the surrounding areas, but we photograph weddings across Finland. We also offer engagement and pre-wedding sessions for couples who want to practice being photographed or build a visual story before the big day.
