Hi — I’m Marko Laukkarinen, a wedding photographer working from Kotka whose passion is for authentic moments and real people. Wedding photography has been at the core of my work: a documentary approach, natural light and creatively composed wedding portraits form the heart of my style. I aim to create photos that let you travel back to the feeling of the day and experience the moment all over again. I work calmly and unobtrusively so that the spontaneous emotions of the celebration stay genuine. Meeting people is what matters most to me — every couple and every wedding is unique, and I want to document your story authentically. In addition to documentary wedding coverage, I plan and create portrait sessions in meaningful locations, combining atmospheric settings with creative composition. My shooting process is simple and centered on your needs: first we discuss your wishes and the day’s schedule, agree on practical timings and the photography style, and on the wedding day I’m there to capture what matters — without unnecessary fuss. I work throughout Finland and am happy to photograph destination weddings as well. If needed, I can conduct sessions in English. My professional skills are built on years of experience and ongoing education — I’ve attended courses such as Davin Beckstead’s wedding photography workshop and the Snap Photography Festival, each bringing fresh perspectives to documentary wedding work. My images have been featured on international platforms like LooksLikeFilm. While wedding photography is my focus, I also offer engagement, family and portrait sessions for couples who want a wider package or pre-wedding images.
