Hi — I’m Tomi Jokela, shooting as TJ Kuva from Hämeenlinna. I specialise in wedding photography and approach every wedding with a personal, documentary mindset: I look for natural moments, authenticity and the atmosphere of the surroundings rather than staging artificial scenes. My working style is calm and client-focused; I want couples to be present in their day without feeling pressured to perform for the camera. I started photographing professionally in 2014, and the experience of running a small business has made me a flexible, solution-oriented photographer. My local knowledge of Hämeenlinna and experience in diverse event environments help me find beautiful settings for portraits and shape the visual storytelling of your wedding photos. I work mainly in a documentary way but also guide relaxed portraits when needed: I will create calm couple portraits when appropriate, while valuing the emotional spontaneity that makes wedding images memorable. Collaboration matters: I emphasise planning and communication — we’ll discuss your wishes, the event schedule and key moments in advance so I can be in the right place at the right time. My approach is intended to be unobtrusive yet well prepared: I create space for authenticity and present emotions to unfold. Clients often describe my style as relaxed, reliable and atmospheric. Although wedding photography is my core expertise, I also shoot engagement sessions and can help plan your wedding-day photography within those sessions. I operate primarily across Hämeenlinna and the Kanta‑Häme region and tailor each photography package to suit your day.
