Linnean Lumo Photography

I am Tiia Korhonen, an environmental photographer from Kajaani — Linnean Lumo Photography. Wedding photography is my passion: I aim to tell a couple’s story with images that bring the day’s atmosphere back to life again and again. Art is present in my work; I seek the tones of the surroundings, small details and natural light so the final result feels timeless and delicate. I approach wedding photography with a documentary and personal style. I observe moments rather than directing everything strictly — but when needed I guide gently so portraits feel relaxed and authentic. As an environmental photographer I prefer working in natural light and in locations that tell a story: forest paths, lakeshores, old buildings or the intimate atmosphere of your home. I also offer engagement shoots, which work wonderfully as a preparation for the wedding day and give the couple a keepsake of their shared anticipation. Before the big day we plan the shoot together — I want to hear your wishes, feelings and the important moments you want to preserve. A planning meeting helps us find the best locations and times to shoot and ensures the photography flows calmly amid the wedding day’s hustle. During the session I strive to create a warm, trusting atmosphere: often the best images appear when people forget the camera and simply live the moment. In post-production I aim for a natural color palette and fresh contrasts — small corrections and careful editing while preserving the spirit of the story. When the images are ready I deliver them as a clear, user-friendly gallery from which you can download your memories. I primarily work in Kajaani and the Kainuu region, but I am happy to photograph weddings elsewhere in Finland.
