My style is calm and unforced — I want the feeling of the day to come through genuinely in the images, without the pressure of over-staging. I often work with natural light and on location, because natural light and the surrounding environment help create relaxed, emotionally engaging photographs. My services for couples typically include coverage of the ceremony, portraits and documentary-style coverage of the celebrations. Whether you want intimate first-look images, atmospheric portraits along woodland paths, or relaxed reportage of the party, we can tailor a package to fit your day. I also offer engagement photography — a great way to get to know your photographer before the wedding and to create images for invitations or guest gifts. How do I work? Before the wedding we’ll discuss your wishes, timing and the key moments you want to remember. During the day I strive to be present without being intrusive: I document events naturally and step in for guided portraits when there is time and need. In post-production I take care to maintain the mood you want — we can agree on a color palette or a set number of black & white prints, for example. I’m a local photographer based in Kajaani, and the landscapes and community of Kainuu are close to my heart.
