Aakoo Photography is a wedding photography specialist based in Jyväskylä, led by photographer Anna-Kaisa Törmikoski. Wedding photography is at the heart of the business — I work with passion to capture fleeting moments and aim to convey genuine atmosphere, joy and love in my images. My priority is that those being photographed feel relaxed; that is why I always bring a gentle, conversational approach to sessions, helping to capture natural expressions and real moments. My approach is a blend of documentary and portrait styles: I pay attention to composition and light while giving the day space to unfold naturally. I can be with you from morning preparations and portraits to the ceremony and the celebration — or focus on more intimate engagement or portrait sessions before or after the big day. My style is soft, atmospheric and true to the couple, while guided by my visual vision to produce a cohesive and touching result. I primarily work in Jyväskylä and the Central Finland region, but I’m happy to accept assignments elsewhere in Finland. Working with clients is confidential and flexible: we plan the shoot together, consider locations and schedules, and create a calm environment where everyone can be themselves. I want the memories of your day to become timeless, emotive images that bring joy year after year. Although wedding photography is my main focus, I also photograph couples, portraits and family events — these earlier or additional sessions often complement the wedding story beautifully.
